How our seminars work
- Each seminar has a minimum of 5 pupils per tutor and is designed to remain interactive, with opportunities for students to participate and ask questions.
- Each seminar has a clear topic and set of learning goals so students know what will be covered before joining.
- The tutor teaches the key ideas first, then works through examples and questions with the group.
- Students are encouraged to answer, ask questions and compare approaches rather than passively watch.
- Common mistakes are discussed openly so everyone benefits from the questions raised by the group.
What we want to help with
- KS3, GCSE and A-Level subject support across relevant topics and exam content.
- Medicine and Dentistry application support, including key admissions themes and preparation.
- Exam-question technique, discussion and focused revision.
- Learning from other students’ questions and approaches in a small group.
- Getting focused support at a lower cost than one-to-one tuition.
What a session looks like
Seminars are designed to feel like an interactive workshop rather than a lecture. The exact content varies by the advertised subject, year group or Medicine and Dentistry application theme.
Quality & safeguarding: all tutors are DBS checked and safeguarding trained. With student consent, sessions may be recorded for quality assurance so teaching standards can be reviewed and maintained.
